Prints not square and ugly 1st layer

I have some troubles.

First, my prints are not square. I thought its the PETG, but it happens also with eSUN PLA (Generic PLA profile) and the BL-PLA (BL PLA profile) and it doesnt matter how fast I print. I also tried to lower the flow ratio from 1.03 (official Extrudr X1C PETG Profile) to 0.98 - same buling corners.

And the second is my first layer - it is so rough. The problem is, the nozzle picks up the filament and at some point, the blob falls on the print.

What is cause these problems?

Download and install the Orca Slicer (Bambu Studio but better) and run the calibrations on the top menu bar. Follow the instructions to a “T”. Little steps in there that are easy to miss and will void your attempts to tune your filament to your printer.

It looks like a pressure advance issue.

This is the result of the first test with the eSun PLA. I’m testing my Extrudr PETGs now and print my uneven design again to see if it had a impact.

For this I use 0.042

@Sticks Thank you - it works :partying_face:

Printed with flow calibrated Extrudr PETG Orange

Calibrate now all my filaments :sunglasses:

Don’t thank me, than SoftFever and the other contributors on github for making this possible.

I am very glad that it worked for you.
