Proactive steps, tips to prevent clogs using PLA-CF

Just had a clogged nozzle

have not had many of them, but been printing PLA – CF a lot

in fact this printer is just dedicated to PLA – CF

it wasn’t difficult to unclog, but I want to know if there are any other steps perhaps I should perform to be proactive and prevent this from happening - I mean besides a cold pull (how often) - perhaps like running regular PLA or another type of filament through the nozzle after each PLA – CF run?

just curious if anybody has any tips thank you

I forgot to mention that I walked in on the printer printing in midair. Is there any way to prevent this?

So I’ll just solve my own problem - I now run a job of PLA and PETG through after every few PLA-CF jobs. Heat the nozzle to 250 and extrude and so far all good. Hope this helps someone else in the future.
