What is the cause of this?

I use the Fiberon PET-CF17 filament profile provided by Orca Slicer without any modification.

That area is where the seam is.

Nozzle will start printing from there for each layer.




Hi…

  1. Did you dry the filament? The stringy behaviour in the right side wall (fig 2) is typical of wet filament - also stated in user reviews on the filament’s official webpage.
  2. Calibration - did you perform a filament calibration? At least PA and flow rate.
  3. The issue may be in the printing profile or settings if all that is done. I quickly checked and found nothing that could lead to such an issue. Even so, if the problem persists, I would start with a retraction test and some test prints with different seam settings afterwards.
