Problem with outer Walls

Hello everybody, does anybody know how to solve the surface problem seen at z: 13mm?

The back looks like this:

Printed with support, z seam on back and wall order outer/inner.

3mf is attached.

Thanks in advance

Does the texture change coincide with the end of the support production?

Yes it does. When the support ends the texture changes.

Ok: Dumb question: have you used a different type of support?

The whole print only uses PLA

Layer time is the issue.

You can look at the time per layer section in the slicer and the colors will align exactly where the defect is seen.

Does it not look good?

What he said.

I was going to suggest trying “Normal Support” Instead of Tree Support.

But @CincinnatiDesigns has more experience than I do.

Sorry, it was my fault. I chost speed.

Is it possible to solve it with this option?

You are looking at speed. Look for time per layer. Sorry I dont know what it is called in the German version.

You can get rid of it by lowering the speed in the filament profile.

It will take much longer to make the part, but it will look better visually.

Now I got it!

Unfortunately using much more time is not an option, because this part will be printed in series.

Do you have another idea to get rid of it?

I havent looked at the profile. Saying “much more time” may be an overexageration.Say this print takes 4 hours now, it might take 5.5 hours.

Capping the layer time is the only solution I know, because it directly attacks the root cause of the issue.

My addiction is deeply rooted now. Im a decade deep, I cant go back.

Switched support structure from tree to normal.

Looks better now but the green line is confusing me. Should I give it a try?

So what are the print times here?

5 hours with a max speed of 22mm/s

What was the print time before?
