A sudden problem has appeared with tall prints (it wasn’t there before). From a height of about 20 cm, the print cyclically starts to wobble in the XY axes approximately every 5 mm. I’m printing with ABS in a heated chamber, which has worked flawlessly until now. So far, I’ve changed the hotend, manually leveled the bed according to the Bambu Lab protocol, tightened the XY axis belts, checked the Z-axis belt, and lubricated the Z-axis guides. No effect.
I just realized that the problem started when there was a power outage during printing, and the printer turned off. After the power came back on, instead of resuming the print, the printer started printing from the beginning, trying to raise the build plate with the model upward, which caused it to lift the cover where the AMS was located, and the resistance prevented it from raising the build plate higher. Something probably got damaged at that point, but I can’t pinpoint the damage because everything seems to be working fine. The photo shows another failed print resulting from this issue.
Can someone check on their printer if, with the bed lowered and moving the screw, the lower bearing of the screw should make so much noise?
