I’m trying to connect my A1M to an original AMS. I have all the cables connected as instructed and double checked. There is one spool in AMS with the filament in the slot ready to load.
I chose the correct AMS in the options menu as instructed. After connecting cables and then turning printer off/on, I noticed the one slot with filament flashes white and other three are red. After a couple of seconds, all lights are blinking red.
The printer doesn’t show the AMS as connected in the filament section.
Also, in the firmware menu, it doesn’t show the AMS either.
A1M is on firmware version 1.07.02.00.
AMS when connected to an x1c is 00.00.06.75.
I’m at a loss to what is happening. Any suggestions on what to check at this point.
You don’t mention a buffer. Just in case, do you have one?

Yes. I have the required AMS Mini hub installed.

When you have the AMS attached does the printer see it in the filaments screen?
No it doesn’t. I mentioned that in the original post.
I have the first one. It is designated to use with A1M and AMS.

I turned the printer off/on several times to check the lights as it came on. Noticed the first thing is that all lights blinked white for just a second. Then for a second the slot 1 (from left) stayed white and slot 2 is static red no blinking. Slot 3/4 are not on. Then all lights are blinking red.
As a follow up, I gave up on it. The AMS 2 pro is back in stock. I ordered one and selling the non working one. Thanks for the feedback.
After installing two ams 2 pros on my x1c I used the remaining ams 1 that is working on the x1c and connected to a1m. All lights are blinking red. Just to make sure I connected it back to x1c and it works fine. Have no idea what to check next on the a1m to get the ams working. Any other suggestions on what to check.
