Problems with printing no filament

When I try to print the AMS loads, but no filament comes out of the nozzle.

I had a stuck cutter and fixed it and cycled power and now nothing will print.

How can I fix this or how do I return this

The plastic is stuck in the heat break, as if it got molten in there

What do I do

Now after replacing the hotend it gives an error when trying to load and doesn’t seem to move far enough left to cut filament

I dunno what to do. I filed a dispute as I’ve only had it a week and the only page mentioning returns has no actionable information.

Sounds like your cutter installation might not be good.
What error message codes does the Printer give you?

In the software it says the cutter is stuck, but it never even moves left to cut the filament once it is in the cutting position.

I checked the connectors several times on the hotend because I found a thread saying they could be a problem but as far as I can tell they are connected.

If I try to use the load feature, I get a 0700_4500_0002_0001
I took down this number for this reply, and while doing so I removed the screw that holds the thing in place, making sure it was properly re-threaded. the magnet is still there, but I can’t do this 9001 times because it hurts my hands so badly to try to turn that screw with the only key I have that fits it.

I bought this printer because they advertise that it is just supposed to work.
This is not even CLOSE to as reliable as my K2 Max which I would never recommend either.

I just went through with a super bright light and a magnifying lens and made absolutely certain that the hotend cables were plugged incorrectly and it is doing the same thing. It parks at the front left and then never moves to cut the filament.

The filament sensor on the extruder also acts as the sensor for the cutting lever which has an inserted magnet to activate the sensor:

so there are following possibilities that I see:

  1. The lever does not return to it’s starting position correctly, check the spring and the lever movement limiting screw for correct placement. Also check that the lever moves forth and back without binding when pushed manually.

  2. The sensor plug is not connected properly

  3. The sensor or cable to the sensor is damaged

Removed the extruder and also double checked the extruder cable insertion.

Now it just keeps saying “load filament from spool holder” over and over

Regarding this reply, it wasn’t even moving to cut the filament.

Now that I guess??? everything is connected??? (did I do it right this final time???) It still cries about the filament??? Even though it does more than last time.

I am TRYING to get things printed for a festival and I don’t have time for this thing to be a POS. When the chargeback clears I am ganna buy 2 more K2 max instead. Which I should have done to begin with.

This began with FILAMENT CLOG which in my book is a UNICORN because I have NEVER EVER SEEN A HOTEND CLOG UNTIL THIS PRINTER! NOT IN 10 YEARS!

If only they had accessible customer service or actually wanted to help anyone, there would have been no CB. A notice of a 2 week return window (stating it is only for perfect product) and no way to access real support is panic mode for a 1000 dollar purchase.

I mean heck my Ender 3 V2 with dual axis and direct drive IS BETTER THAN THIS PRINTER! It has tens of thousands of hours on it and it prints perfectly! Bambu is a joke.

Sorry but ranting is not going to get things resolved any faster IMHO.
If you want to replace with another printer than that is your prerogative, however it’s not going to help you right now or is it?
Clogs do happen and it happened to me on printers that had been even more expensive than this one so spare me with this dramatic outline.
Yes customer support is poor with BS and we all here know it.

Trace back the things you did previously, uninstall and reinstall the extruder again but this time take a deep breath, relax and pay attention on the reassembly process. Small mistakes on the assembly process can lead to problems and broken components. Power down your printer if there are errors, fix them and power up your printer again to ensure the errors are cleared.

That’s the end from my side

I do appreciate you trying to help. This is a rough thing to have happen right at this moment. I hate to CB them honestly but with no real way to make a return, they reap what they sew.

If the plastic got stuck in the heatbtreak, then one cause is the cooling fan not working properly - unplugged, jammed/whatever. If you have cut/tried to cut the fiament, when the filament is cold at the cutting point, then the blade will often stick. The unload/cut process, is that the extruder pushes through the filament a short distance, to ‘warm it up’ then retracts and cuts and continues retracting. It may be that the filament has not been able to do that. If it is a new printer, perhaps it came with a spare hotend, which you can fit, if the existing one is still blocked. You can also unblock the existing nozzle, of course.
