It would be really useful if “ironing” could create cosmetically attractive patterns. For example, like carbon fiber sheet. This would be similar to the patterns made by the build plate. This would be a highly used feature and not hard to implement.

Good idea. I would also like to get multiple passes for the ironing layer. Maybe first pass is classic ironing and second pass is a pattern.
It would take some research to see how many passes and at what Z postion would make the best pattern. Not too hard to figure out. I am actually surprised this is not already available. Ironing allows concentric and rectalinear, but that’s it.
