I am working to upload my Crokinole boards to Makerworld. I have 3 different versions/designs (see photos). Would it be best to upload 1 version, and then add the other 2 as separate profiles? Or should I just upload them as 3 different models? I don’t want to put them in 1 big 3mf, because people might get confused as what to print. Thanks!

If you’re using hardware, three separate profiles would get you to the creator program quicker, right?
I don’t think anyone could blame you for three separate models though. That Captain America design is

Not much hardware, but important ones. Steel pins (for the bumper pin cores) are available on Makerworld, but the Latex tubing used for the bumpers is not. Eventually I’ll test using TPU for the bumper pins to see if the have enough bounce.

I would try and do one model with 3 separate print profiles, and just try and do my best to showcase the different versions in the cover photo.
If you had created each variation a few months apart though, I’d probably say to do it as a new model, haha.
I asked myself this same question recently with my latest release. It was a modification of a previous design, but a few things about it had me set it up as a new model vs just updating the previous one with more print profiles.
I try and consider how different the model actually is. Is it the same thing, but basically different colors? Does it use the same hardware? For the end user, is there physical differences they need to consider, or is it aesthetics? Do the variations serve the same purpose, or would the variations of the model cause the model to be used for different purposes?

This made the most sense to me. Really the only different is the color scheme/shapes on the top layers of the board pieces. The hardware and connection pieces are the same. Eventually if I get an H2D, I might make a version that uses larger pieces to have less seams, but if I get that far I can do that as a new model, or additional profiles.
