Does anyone have experience with the mechanical properties of Bambu PC filament vs Prusa PC Blend filament?
I would be very interested too. Also compared to Polymaker Polymax PC. Anyone of Prusa and Polymaker would be fine for me, as they are very similar according to CNC Kitchen.
Hello. After a year, I would like to revive this topic. Could someone tell me what are the differences between these two filaments? Or which one is better? More durable? Stronger?
Many brands these days provide material properties which will help with deciding what filament to use for a project.
Here you can take a look at the properties for yourself:

Each has their own strengths and weaknesses, so you’ll have to determine which property matters to you the most for your use case.
Hi, I finally i bought a spool of Bambu PC and did my layer adhesion test.I’m using the E3D Obxidian nozzle on an X1C in all my latest tests. Compared to the stock nozzle, it achiebes slightly higher strength parts which especially is hardly influenced by print speed.
The Polymaker PCmax had one of the best values so far. It achieved ± 190N-200N with my test part reliably, no matter the speed I print it.
The BambuLab was quite disappointing here. I have tested twice, once with part fan at 0% and once at 10%. That is the minimum speed in the Bambulab profile, which surprised me, because I have learned that PC is quite allergic to any fan like many other high temperature materials.
without fan, the parts failed at around 150N and less when printed faster than 200 mm/s.
whith the BambuLab profile that was closer to 130N.
That at least isn’t as bad a drop as PolymaxPC, which dropped from 190N to 100N when I only enabled a little bit of AUX fan.
But in summary, layer adhesion is one of the worst I tested. Most PETG and PLA filaments do the same or better at typically 160N and some up to 200N.
Of course layer adhesion is not the one and only property playing a role. But for me it is one of the more important ones because layer adhesion is already the weak spot for parts strength.
Like with other filaments, I have the feeling that BambuLab prioritises easy printing and good optics over strength. The BambuLab PETG HF also had worse layer adhesion than most other prands, even other HF filaments.
