PSA Save your fingernails!

Ya you’re totally right about the handle being too long on the provided scraper. Probably leads to people using it incorrectly.

Yeah, me :joy:. Never thought to use the other side. Will give it a try again

LOL! I use to get this a lot with PETG also, I found an alternative, put a line of glue just where the calibration/prime lines are. Then I just run my finger over it until it gives. I have a scraper but I am paranoid of scratching the plate it like I did the other size.

Bambu Lab supplies a very nice file and a blade that I still have since December that gets underneath those extrusions. Definitely the best I have found and I use it on my other printers as well.

ive did it like 2+ times but not deep

I just got some similar plastic razor blades like this from Amazon. And I have to say I was amazed at how they work!

I was about to toss one of my build plates in the freezer, because I had this one bit of silk PLA that just would not come off the plate. But, these plastic blades easily removed it and they have no chance of damaging the plate.

Thank you to everyone that recommended something like this!!

This was the one I ordered:

I bought those for cleaning off my build plates, but they have also been really useful for cleaning cooktops, scraping “non-stick” pots and pans, removing labels, scraping gaskets, removing excess paint and caulk from windows and many other chores around the house. The set of handles and blades I bought had four handles and somehow the one I saved for the printer wandered off. My Amazon wish list has another set on it now.

EDIT: Today, it’s a Prime Big Deal:
