Hello everyone,
I have been the owner of a P2S for a few days now. Today, I printed my first larger component, and after about 2 1/2 hours, the printer started making loud noises. Upon inspection, I discovered that the PTFE tube to the extruder on the right side of the housing was rubbing against sharp edges and also getting slightly stuck. There is now also quite a bit of abrasion visible on the housing. You can also see in the picture how far the tube reaches onto the housing.
I also have a video, but unfortunately I couldn’t attach it.
Is there a mounting missing for the PTFE tube? Does anyone know this problem and was able to solve it?
I second this, tube chain clips were a necessity, my whole top cover was smeared from the tube sliding against it…also you need to cut a few cms off the original tube so that the tube does not squeeze out of the holders (better start in small increments and move the tool head around manually to see how it reaches the far edges of your plate!)
