Actual tariffs are just stupid. Sorry fellow Americans. But there is something that i always say. The price is highly inflated or it’s too high? Then vote with your wallet. The same will happen with the new Nintendo console coming soon. People are saying that the price hike is a joke but i bet they will sell like always.

For me, even having printed with one, this price is just absurd. But as long as people are willing to spend money or go into debt to buy them, they will sell like cupcakes. And they are… I see friends in Portugal where the cost of life and what you earn is way bellow what is considered normal and yet they keep buying them.
In Germany it’s the same, people without any clue of what is a 3D printer are making loans just to buy the H2D when they could have a better price/performace ratio with other Bambu printers. It’s crazy to see how everyone is always complaining about life costs but have no problems in paying more than 2000€.

Don’t get me wrong. On paper it’s a good printer and it works well (when it works), but it’s not good enough to warrant the price they are asking.

Again, fellow Americans, i am truly sorry. Let’s just hope this whole situation gets “fixed” soon.

I managed to get an AMS Combo ordered, but it does appear that whatever pre-order stock they had sold out in 5 minutes. So I’d say their price increase was well within what the market would bear.

Considering the US tariff on imports from China is something like 54%, a 10% price increase to the consumer seems pretty decent. I don’t blame Bambu for this at all. With demand where it is, they could have has that level of price increase without any tariffs at all.

They started allowing you to finance Door Dash / Uber Eats, the food ordering type services lol. If you’re financing a Big Mac, its time to re-evaluate your priories, but im sure people will do that too lol

For those understanding of Bambu’s price increase, what do you say about some other Chinese companies having not yet done that. I’m surfing around and noticed no price hike on some others

Curious what the US Delivery cost is? I just left the site in the UK as delivery is £80 so takes H2D + AMS to £1930 delivered.

Funny how I am fine signing up for over £1800 for the printer but I draw the line at £80 for delivery.

Well they didn’t sell like always here. I was here to buy today and today their actions convinced me NOT TO Buy. Last minute price increase as well as holding money for over 30 days in a PreOrder status. Yeah not something I’m willing to do this round.

Shipping on my AMS Combo order was $80. Estimated ship date 5/9.

I got the combo too. Had all the accessories I wanted to get already selected before 8am and glad I had done that. Was disappointed about the price increase since the lower price was showing right up until they started taking preorders but got it anyway. Don’t think it will get any cheaper.

Just boycott. If nobody buys one, we win eventually.

I struggle to understand who actually does this. It kind of scares me to think people do.

As much as I agree with this sentiment, companies have to turn a profit and if no one buy something regardless they will have to lower pricing…this of course doesnt take account for not having to sell to America if they get profit elsewhere, i dont know those numbers to know if thats plausible, but I do know companies have to sell their products

My shipping was $80 on the AMS combo. What are y’all’s ship dates? Mines May 9th EST

May 9th, ordered at 10:02. $80 shipping for the AMS combo

I imagine a lot of those companies that haven’t raised prices yet have stock already in-country, so they haven’t had to pay the new tariffs yet. These pre-order printers clearly have yet to ship to the US, so they can reasonably assume that they’re going to have to pay more than 50% tariff when they do arrive. I’ve certainly noticed lots of electronics on Amazon have seen 10%+ price increases already.

I just want to thank everyone who was so pissed off at the price increases that they refused to order this morning. That probably helped me to get mine ordered before they sold out. :upside_down_face: I think there’s a good chance the price will have gone up again by the time the next pre-order opens up.

Anyone else seen the full IDEX Rat Rigs? Fully loaded setup is $2,317. Two independent nozzles, Dual motor driven and lightning fast. Now if only there was an AMS option. That’s all we really need is competition.

I paid 120USD for shipping… I ordered a bunch of other stuff. Man, was hoping for free shipping at least.

Probably dodged a bullet by not jumping on it this morning. I wouldn’t have been able to redeem gift cards fast enough before it sold out and kicked it out of my cart, leaving any gift cards I redeemed in limbo. That was my biggest concern.

True, and i know i keep using this as an example cuz i expected that price to hike becuz its already so cheap, but the Centauri Carbon shows as a PreOrder as well, yet no hike…

Hopefully by the time it worth ordering again, something better will come out and have saved me from making buying a lesser product as a higher price tag lol. Gotta think positive

Anyone ever use 3Dchimera . com ? site looks pretty legit. and checked all the usual “check for scam” sites which have no complaints/high trust ratings for it. I already took my chances and placed and order but they’re still selling the standard AMS H2D combo at the old price! Worst case scenario it’s a scam and I’ll dispute it but hopeful I found an early miracle
