currently have a1 with ams and considering going to the h2s with laser. question is what does that include? does it include the ams2? what else do i need to purchase?? do i need to buy the googles (39.99) and the Laser Grid Panel (39.99). regarding the h2d with ams - if i purchase the h2d laser upgrade kit for 349 - is that the same as buying the h2d laser? (this would be $251 less that buying the h2d laser. Final question - some pictures of the h2d show 5 spools on top - 4 in the ams and one to the left of the ams - what is that?? thanks, don
That is a lot of questions that can be answered on the product page.
Ideally, they would have been broken up.

Some answers.

To get the AMS 2 Pro, you need to select the version called âH2S Full Comboâ or, if you also want the laser included, âH2S Laser Full Comboâ.
All of the printers sold by Bambu Lab which have an optional AMS use the suffix of Combo in some way. It means the printer and the AMS combination.
-
That depends on what else you want.
-
No, the goggles are an additional purchase.

No, the laser grid panel is an additional purchase.

Almost. The laser part of the upgrade is identical. The air pump designed to remove the internal air outside of the printer is a different unit and housed externally, rather than the unit sold with it, which is installed internally. In experience, it is the same; in practice, it is different. How much that means is up to you.

The picture you refer to shows an AMS 2 Pro; as you note, the other item is an optional AMS HT.
The AMS HT is a single spool device designed to work in combination or even on its own with the H2 series, and even the P, X and A series now.
It is designed to make it easier to use filaments not usually possible with the 4-spool AMS options. It can house TPU, for example. It also includes a dryer.
I strongly recommend you scroll down the product pages, detailing what is in the box, the specifications and a Q&A that often answers whatever you seek.
sincerely appreciate your kind and complete answer. i guess i just find the bambu website a little bit of a challenge. i have still not found the âwhatâs in the boxâ page. BUT i am glad that they put their best effort into their products! a thought: rather than spend $159 for HT and only get one more color, one could get the ams + hub and have four more colors. again i appreciate your kind reply. don

You can manually scroll down the page through all the information until you see the relevant sections: whatâs in the box and faq.

Select the Instruction link (as shown in white on the top of the screenshot image below) and it will scroll down.
The laser glasses are not included, and you donât need them because the H2x has laser protection glass and switches off as soon as the door/lid is opened
