Purge to Infill

There has to be a way to set some of the items as default. Unless I’m doing a transparent filament, I’m can’t think of a reason not to purge to infill. I’m sure someone will educate me.

Basically, for a setting like this, that I “always” want a different setting from the BS default, let me set it.

Currently, the only way is to create a blank 3MF with your settings and, should you choose, your default filament settings & choices.

Save that and name it accordingly.

Next time you start a project, open this file and immediately save it for your new project or risk having to recreate it.

Default grid type, wall counts, bottom and top surfaces at are good things to define in this file.

Use custom “process” presets. Start a fresh project with one of the default profiles (eg. “0.20mm High Quality”), modify the settings you typically always change and save it as a custom preset. That preset can then be selected for any project as a baseline. How to Create Custom Preset | Bambu Lab Wiki
