Purge Volume Between Black and Ice Blue seems low (repost)

Using only Bambu Lab filaments, it seems the default purge volume between some lighter colors seems low. In the attachment, filament 9 is PLA Basic black (10101), filament 3 is PLA Basic grey (10103), filament 5 is PLA Matte ice blue (11601) and filament 6 is PLA basic silver (10102).

I know I can override these values myself. For now, I’ll add reviewing volumes to my preprint tests\rituals\checks.

I also understand that it would be a n-squared test matrix to test and determine purge volumes between just Bambu filaments. I can’t image the test matrix with other factors such as nozzle type, size, left\right extruder, rando filament brand.etc- it’s an unimaginable test matrix. Maybe a filament purge volume test under calibration would be great.

Purge amount autocalculation is based on the hex colors you assign and a best-guess algorithm for how much is needed. The best-guess part is because the color isn’t related to the light transmissivity/transparency of the filament, as well as it’s pigment density, and viscosity which are also critical parts of the puzzle of flushing.

Sometimes you need to adjust. If you want to try to calc it ahead of time, maybe a site like the lithograph people use to track transmissivity can get you further along

Strange. I restarted and recalced and all the values made sense.

There were many things I did to possibly cause my situation- using non-std filaments, changing purge volume ratios, rearranging filaments, etc. so this could have been my cause.
