Hello all!
I am completely new to the 3D Printing world and i have a question regarding how the slicer determines the best “path” for the printing head to make. I have designed my own piece and imported as an STL file, then when selecting what infill I would like and walls I then hit slice. When using the scroll bars on the right side and left side it seems the path the printer is taking makes no sense. It will fill in a corner and then stop then move to the middle of the part and start filling in again. I have attached a photo and a GIF of the issue.

Also, why does the travel go all the way over to the left for every layer?
This brings me to my question of is there any way to fix these issues? The skipping around leaves a surface finish that has different levels of glossiness and seems really inefficient.
Thanks for the help!
