Today I saw one of my models on the home page, but It isn’t a featured model (the guitar). The last time I saw one of my models there, it got the featured medal.
Is this section of the home page something that is tailored to me and that’s why I’m seeing my stuff there?
I really like getting the Medals so I got excited to see it there and then sad when my profile was the same as before.
That display is not specific to you. I know MW staff rotates in what they want to show off there.
I believe MakerWorld picks what shows up there and models that are picked to be shown seem to be tagged separately from ‘Featured Models’.
So there’s no publicly visible indicator that your model has been chosen to be shown on the front page, other than actually showing up on the front page.
Soooo… Pseudo-Featured. Got it!
