Question about the motion accuracy and the vision encoder

So I used the vision encoder a few times and everytime, at the end it basically shows you the motion accuracy before calibration. Now everytime I did it, I didn’t remember exactly but I found that each time, the correction it showed after the calibration seemed extremely similar. So I decided it to do it 2 times in a row because I figured that if it was calibrated, the hollow dots should appear as aligned. But for some reason both times, I got the exact same pattern. Is that normal? Here’s 2 pics. One is after one time and the other is after doing it right after. The pictures seem extremely similar if not identical.

It shows you the deviation between an uncalibrated machine and the calibration it just did.

Therefore the difference will never be zero (fully aligned points).

I was thinking the image on the left of the text is just a random pictogram as they wanted to add some graphic. I don’t think/ didn’t know it is changing between runs. If they wanted to present data they could just present the numbers or save it to file in the accessible form.

Yeah I did the same thing, expecting it to show the difference re-calibration makes. But no joy, always the same deviations. I guess we just trust that it improved it “sufficiently” the first time, or after one calibration run if it starts from defaults each time anyway. I’d like more data.

If you check their wiki the picture is different which makes me think the picture is maxhine dependent
