I looked at some of my followers and noticed high level people but they have no likes and no models. How does someone get a high level and never publish a model?
- He used to had many 3D models, but deleted them all and switched to another site.
- Theoretically, he may have ignored you so that you wouldn’t see his models.
- Other activities in the community, such as regular ratings, writing comments, etc.
If the level is extremely high but the profile is empty, the most plausible explanation is usually that the user has switched to another site.
I had made 30 before uploading a single model. Levels would increase from giving reviews, I think some came from here. My point is you don’t have to upload a single model to “level up”. Doesn’t even mean anything when you do.
Thanks for the clarification. I guess a lot of people start off with just downloading files. I think it would be good if MakerWorld included a list of makes that a person has printed along with their 3D Models and collections. It would be interesting to know what people like to print.
Not being mean, but you have basically that with “Trending”.
Those level values are meaningless and get triggered for inane acts.
They do not separate the good from the bad or the experienced from the inexperienced.

Thanks, I get your point, but I meant what I had designed that people like to print. Apparently a lot of people make prints but do not upload there pictures. No problem, and thanks again for the reply.

For platform-wide trend, look at the trending ones, or sort by downloads under the model category. For your own models, sort them by downloads.
