Question on connecting the AMS 2 Pro to the P1S

For those who have made the connection between the P1S and the AMS 2 Pro, I have a question. It appears the PTF Tube coming from the AMS 2 Pro is quite long.

Can you trim that down a bit so it fits more directly? The Bambu Wiki on this subject doesn’t mention doing this and I just want to be sure trimming it will be Ok. If so, how long should you make it? If anyone has this connected, can you upload an image showing what your connection looks like. I’m using the AMS Hub. Appreciate any help.

Yes it is fine to cut it down. You do want to have decent sized loops to minimize the filament from having too tight a turn it needs to make. Really tight curves, the filament is going to really rub hard against the outside of the curve, prematurely eroding a hole or ragged edge through the ID of the tubing.
I buy the longest continuous piece that BL sells and usually buy 2 - 3 at a time.
