Questions regarding MakerWorld points

IMO, DWDesigns hit the nail on the head earlier in this thread.

23.1 hours of print time, 874g of filament and $9.99 USD worth of parts hasn’t prevented people from downloading or boosting my latest model. That model is also my highest reward earning model and it was released after the point nerfing.

If I were to convert the boosts that I’ve received for that model and add it to the total regular rewards that model has earned, it is very comparable to what my popular models were earning pre-nerf.

The X factor here is the Maker’s Supply Creator’s Incentive Program. This is what has made that design my highest earning model. If you’re a designer and you want to earn points for uploading your designs for free, I highly suggest you grab a hardware kit or a kit A.

I can’t say enough good things about Kit A. I know there aren’t a lot examples of what you can do with the kit yet, but I’m working hard on something to showcase the potential of the kit. Here’s is a sneak peek. Using the solderless electronics, I’ve given this vehicle working headlights.
