Ratcheting nose when lifting left hot end

I’ve noticed this nose when it retracts the left hot end. It doesn’t do it all the time but send to be the majority of the time. Printer is about 6 months old, about 400 or so hours on it. Video: https://youtube.com/shorts/Xt3CvE6-eNE?is=BdM9jDDauk9U0Djm

In this thread, it turned out to be the buffer - when the left nozzle is raised the filament will push back against the buffer spring section and it will make that sound.

Noise when switching nozzles

Hello my machine has been making a noise when switching from the Left to right nozzle. It has made it since day 1 however it is getting quite worse. I have opened up a ticket however would like to see if the community has any ideas either. I have pulled PTFE tubes and looked around the tool head but not seeing anything. I am thinking it is the buffer making the noise but haven’t looked into how to remove the assembly and check it. [H2D Noises]

If that’s the case, I’m not sure that it’s really a problem, though, or just an odd noise.

I wasn’t sure if it was a problem or not, I have an H2D at work as well and it’s never made that noise and my printer doesn’t do it all the time either. The first two times I tried I record it it didn’t even do it. I’ll look at that link you shared, thanks.

Edit: FWIW my work H2D has the AMS HT connected to the left where at home I have an AMS2 Pro on each nozzle.

That link also mentioned they filed a ticket and Bambu sent a new buffer and it fixed it. Off to file a ticket I suppose
