I just gave 5 stars to a model I recently printed. I mentioned in my comment that I had made a couple of mistakes and added a suggestion that would make the model idiot proof for guys like me. It wouldn’t let me post the review because it said there may be negative comments in it and asked me to rewrite it. So apparently you can give less than 5 stars, just no constructive feedback.

The rating system has been broken for awhile and the overzealous filtering does not help.

It’s not new. Bambu doesn’t like any harsh language, and they don’t want to see anything what can’t be read by a toddler.
Even here, in the response window you can try any words that should be acceptable but are blocked out. Like ■■■■. (shi t)
I feel like it’s more of a global attempt by Bambu to market themselves towards the children category, even though any common sense would tell you that FDM with 300C nozzle and kids do not go well together.

Chinese way of thinking can be strange… I guess.
I honestly have no clue on the logic behind it, nor do I want to understand it.
Maybe they think that every American child is born and grows up with AR-15 in hands. /s

I believe that the word “idiot” will trigger the sensitive information warning, which would of course prevent the use of the term “idiot proof”.
Nah - only around half of them do…

True. The other half is more into shotguns and handguns…with a few exceptions here and there for little guys going from day one for hunting rifles…
PS - Perhaps it’s also the time and place to mention those crazy kids who are, from birth, attracted to flamethrowers and bazookas…
