Ratings: Bambulabs own instructions/guidance for user (not makers)?

Does this exist?

I have read a lot on the internet about how someone can (eg the process) and should (eg what to consider in the rating) rate a print profile. The one thing I can not find is Bambulabs own published instructions and especially guidelines on what to consider when rating something.

That is about Boosting, and aimed at the makers. I asked for something similar for rating print profiles, from a user, not maker perspective.

That blog post is aimed at everyone and is as close to guidance about rating/boosting as you get from Bambu Lab themselves.

Any other posting on this forum is the perspective of someone from the community. Bambu Lab haven’t explicitly stated how to review profiles afaik.
If you like it, give it a good rating with a couple of paragraphs of why you liked it. Add a picture of your make.
If you had issues that were caused by the design itself, give a lower rating and a couple of paragraphs of constructive feedback.
If you had issues that were caused by your own changes (dirty plate, changed settings), consider giving a comment rather than a rating. I once gave a poor rating for a design and the author pointed out that I’d changed the profile and got BL to remove the rating, so it isn’t like authors can’t respond to poor reviews. I learnt something from that interaction and will now consider why a print failed before posting poor reviews.

Meh, @user_123456789 will give you 3 stars with comment “dirty build plate” from time to time

And most of the time, 4 stars without any comment.

Just deal with it, like how youtubers deal with troll’s comments

I would add that you can report ratings and comments if they violate Makerworld’s guidelines, but they do not always accept them and it is not clear why, as the moderation team does not provide an explanation. Often, you will encounter defamation and insults for unknown reasons, and even if they violate the rules, etc., they will not be removed.
