Just received my H2D yesterday and the same issue, but both the rear screw drive and the smooth rod are out their positions.
Also, the left side panel has a small gap at the bottom that I cannot get clicked back into place and the front door is out of alignment with the opening, so it pops open. My guess is that the box was abused by FedEx (typical for us, most packages they delivery have cuts or mushed corners), but it looked mostly okay except for missing one of the plastic clips that secure the outer box.
I’m dreading having to return this and waiting for inspection and replacement. ticket open, will see what they recommend.
Word to the wise. Had the same problem. Honestly would have thought this would have been ironed out by now. Anyway, not a hard fix, with the help of this thread, took about 20 minutes. BUT you need to screw the bed back in place (to the base with the packing screws) before undoing the tensioner. My bed shifted in one corner by a few mm and I didn’t pick it up. Resulted in a scratched build plate.
Hopefully Bambu will replace for me.

Have any of you who fixed this issue yourselves find any other issues or damage? I just received mine today with the same issue. Dreading the back and forth with Bambu but can’t help but think it maybe worth it to ensure no other unseen issues?
Same. I’ve removed eight of the 10 screws and loosen to the other two but there is no release of tension on my back screw to allow me to get it back into the cup so I’m lost at this point.
Really disappointed in bambu that I have to do this with a brand new $3000 printer
Got my printer today with the same problem. Followed the instructions here. After only 2 screws left (loosen), the plate will not easily pe loosen, I had to pry it out a little, then the screw feel back in place, put everything back together and running through calibrations now. It took me a while to figure out what’s the problem as the bed will only rise half way then throw that error.
