Received my new P1S Printer

Hello All,

Forgive me if I am not in the right place or if this is not a topic that is covered in the forum, but I am new to the 3rd printing world, as well as to forums. I ordered a P1S Combo w/ the AMS 2 Pro. I received all but the AMS. According to the training video for the P1S Combo, the AMS should have been inside the P1S… sadly, that is not the case. I contacted Customer support via chat and they showed me the delivery confirmation, but as I told them, the confirmation shows that I received the P1S. However, I did not receive an AMS with it. I only received two emails with Order numbers & confirmation numbers. One was for the P1S, and the other was for a smaller plastic package witch contained what I assume is a Hub for the AMS and some power cables.

Customer support sent my case to their logistics department, and stated that I should receive an email from them soon. Am I mistaken, should I not have received the AMS along with the printer?

Once again, forgive me if I am asking a dumb question, but any help would be greatly appreciated.

Bambu shipping and customer support are known to require patience, reminders and tenacity.
You should be able to check your parcels through the Bambu Shop by logging in and then going to the main menu => Account.
Your orders should show up with those orders not fully completed showing their parcels and contents.

I received my P1S + AMS2 Combo in as three seperate shipments… first the printer, then the AMS2 accessories (PSU, bus cables, hub, etc) and finally the AMS2 itself. All were individually tracked via the Bambu store page. edit: There was a delay before the AMS2 was shipped - but when I ordered the combo (during the anniversary sale) it was detailed as a “pre-sale” to be shipped about two weeks after I ordered it - but only the AMS2 was delayed… the rest came in stages, and I was notified as each was shipped IIRC.

That is the issue, when I check there, it says the packages have been delivered (total of two packages). The issue is, that I only received the Printer (with no AMS inside the body) and a smaller package that looks to be a small hub, a power cable, and some other type of connection cable. I never received the AMS. Waiting to see what the logistics department says. Hopefully I will hear back from them within the next day or two. In the meantime, I am going through some of the training videos and getting myself acquainted with my new printer.

I had the same confusion when I ordered my PS1S w/AMS2 this summer. They did indeed ship in separate boxes. I had the same experience as @pfeerick: three boxes, one for printer, one for AMS2, one for everything else I included with the order. (Spare parts, filament, etc.)

Say, if anyone in the US would like a set of Bambu’s anti-vibration feet, send me a DM, I’ll mail you a set. I ordered them and ended up not using them; I’m using @thrutheframe’s HULA Anti-vibration feet. (They work so well. Love them. Because I am not yet set up to print TPU I simply ordered them from pre-made from Voxel.)

On the store printer page it says explicitly that if you bought the combo with the AMS 2 Pro it ships in multiple boxes. There are subtle differences in size and shape between the two AMS types but regardless, if store says multiple boxes, I’d look for multiple boxes and start a lost package process

I finally received the AMS. Apparently the delivery company delivered it to the wrong address, they delivered it to a house almost 10 miles from my house. Luckily the person that lives there was nice enough to bring it to my house.

I love the printer do far, and look forward to setting up and using the AMS… but I have to say, I am a little disappointed with Bambu Support. I reached out to them 3 times letting them know that I had yet to receive the AMS. Each time their response was that their records show that it was delivered, then they closed the ticket. Hopefully my experiences going forward will be better.

That is kind of screwed up. I’ve had that happen not with BL but UPS. I was able to prevail because I have a Ring doorbell cam and no video of delivery. They sent a picture that they thought was proof it had been delivered. Unfortunately for them the apartment number was plain to see but was wrong apartment. Oops.

Delivered is not the same as delivered to me.

Ouch! Had the same thing happen to me once… I’m unlucky enough that there is both a street and a road with the same name in my town… and they opted to deliver to the other… only reason I found out is they actually showed on a map where they delivered to in the “it’s been delivered” notification email… and I was like… WTH is it doing over there… that’s not the address on it!?
