Hi.
I have received today 5 ratings with this same comment “Fresh off the printer! The details on this model are insane!” from 4 different MW users today.

Hi.

Don’t worry. That means that they rated you from the Handy app and used the default message.
How do i know? I am making some tests and tried to rate a make in the Handy app and that is indeed the default message ![]()
Ah. But it’s too much of a coincidence.
Go to Handy and click on the replace button under rate a print profile.
I think it is a very weird feature. I much rather get a rating with nothing, than one that is auto generated.
Not really sure why anyone would use it.
I wouldn’t worry about it, there’s no coincidence when it’s pretty much the only option those people that are rating you have to use. Like Square3D said, it’s a default message from the app when they rate you. I do not believe it is anything darker than that.
I just came here to ask the same thing. It happened to me for the first time today. Same comment from various users. Then I did a google site search and there are tons of this same comment on makerworld. I can’t seem to reproduce that canned text feature mentioned by @CincinnatiDesigns because I hardly ever use the Bambu Handy App to print, but I guess that must be what it is!
Here is a good example of what the app does as soon as you pick 4 or 5 stars rating.
It’s the default message.
Thinks it’s laziness, I use the app because I am in the garage working on and want print that one extra bin for gridfinity and can’t be bothered to go to the computer. Shame on me, I know.
Side note, no emoji for that.
anyhoo. Handy app is not bad, wish you could edit plates, but if you have some thing that works it’s useful.
I also came to the forum to write about it
For me, such comments started yesterday. I thought it was just a coincidence but today I got six of them so I became suspicious.
hahah i was wondering the same! i also got quite a few of those!
@MakerWorld should fix this soon.
Please no. That’s worse than no rating. It sounds and looks like a fake review ![]()
I must have gotten 20 or more of these today - About half the comments have this generic nonsense now.
I wouldn’t mark this as solved. In a few weeks, the entire MakerWorld comment sections will look like a bot farm.
@MakerWorld Please fix this
fun, I saw that too!! It is a template
I think this is funny as ■■■■, I am going to start using that exact phrase on all my ratings
Same thing here! Had 5 of these ratings yesterday ![]()
When prompted to press OK on a pregenerated message reply, 20% of users press OK within 1 second
This same thing happens in other aspects of these peoples lives too
very exploitable lol
Thanks for solving the mystery. I was puzzled by the many comments with this phrase received in the last few days.
Especially the ones on models that did not have “an insane level of detail”. ![]()
Agreed!
@MakerWorld How do we get this resolved? The entire site is going to be overrun with useless comments that only make the site worse in no time!
