Hello guys,
I recently bought a P1S (barely 2 months ago) & started having issues with 90% of the prints over the last couple of weeks.
- Oozing before & after printing;
- The residual filament in the nozzle can sometimes curl up & attach to the nozzle;
- There are blobs in the first layers. This typically ends with the nozzle dragging them around & detaching the print from the bed. This obviously ruins the whole print.
- Sometimes this can happen mid-print but it is less common.
Now, what I have tried to solve this issue:
- Trying multiple filaments to see if some were damp. No luck. It happens with any of the filaments.
- Changing the temperature of the nozzle & bed. This didn’t solve the issue. Some prints can improve if I do, but I guess it is pure luck that the blobs are not dragged around.
- Full calibration & adjustment of flowrate
- Changing the nozzle
- Full maintenance of extruder, hotend & axys.
- Cleaning the bed with dish soap between prints.
- Playing around with the retraction (but not much I must say, as I still do not totally understand how this works & affects printing).
I have seen some posts of this happening to other people but each gave a different explanation & none of the recommendations worked for me.
I have a long video of the whole issue that you can find in the Gdrive link below. Apologies for not posting this directly but the file is too heavy.
Here’s the link to my Gdrive: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Alz5moIRMIetM0qp03soUkk-xlKeDPAz/view?usp=drive_link
If you think you need more videos or information, let me know.
I have opened a ticket too but was hoping someone could help as I would hate having to send the printer to warranty.
Thanks a lot guys!!
