I bought bought AMS 2 Pro for P1S and Bambu Lab AMS Hub but there is not 4 pin cable that connect hub to printer. It is not available in my country either. Any solution for this? pin connection digram or any other hack to connect printer to hub with 4 wire?
Did you really bought the AMS Hub (A1 Series)? Or did you bought the AMS Lite Filament Hub? The AMS Hub (A1 Series), the Bambu Lab AMS Hub and the Filament Buffer contains the 4-pin-Cable in the box. Only the AMS Lite Filament Hub doesn’t contain a cable, because it’s only working with the AMS Lite.
I would contact bambu lab about it, I’m pretty sure it comes with cables to connect with the p1s.
I bought following things:
- Bambu Lab AMS 2 pro: it has one 6 pin cable
- Bambu Lab AMS Hub: It has two 6 pin cable, a PTFE tube and 1 AMS HUB
Image of Content of AMS HUB:
AFAIK AMS 2 pro does not have 4 pin cable, neither AMS HUB as per their content page on Bambu lab website.
Now I don’t have 4 pin cable and cant find it in India its out of stock all over internet.
This is pathetic situation Bambu lab (if you are reading) why not 4 pin cable included?
Finally after reading about pin out and connector find out 2 pins were for 24v and GND, other 2 pins are for RS 485 communication.
Connected these with female jumper wire after removing its casing and ams pro 2 is working well.
For others reference attaching images which I used wiring up.
You’re right! I saw only the picture with the 2 cables and thought, it were a 4 and 6 pin cable. Before the AMS 2 Pro and AMS HT it made sense, because the AMS 1 contains the cable together with the filament buffer. And the AMS Hub for P1 / X1 series was used to connect to multiple AMS (1). So normally one or more 4 pin cables were available. ![]()
