Reinforce AI notices

I’ve seen too many AI generated models on the home page and I hate it. I’ve blocked AI through the settings, but I still see the stuff on my feed. MakerWorld should really start enforcing the use of AI tags, and punish users who don’t properly add a generative AI notice. I want to see useful prints, not 7 different knitted animals.

Major flaw in MW right now.

They need to take stronger measures to fight AI models.

When models are posted the designer should be required to say that if it was designed with AI or not. Also, there should be a report option if a AI model was not labeled correctly.

Tags in form as it is now for AI are not going to work - we need clear AI design design identification like Printables have - clear mark visible on browsing page and settings option to turn visibility of those designs off

I do not know the system that printables uses, but I see a lot of models on there that are obviously AI but are not labeled as such.

This is a hard battle to win. Sadly, right now I think the best detection is the trust in the community to accurately represent AI models.

This is going to be something we just have to deal with in the foreseeable future.

They take away all points earned if you add something to the Exclusive program you believe met the requirements yet Bambu Lab don’t.

Why not do it for this?

If you failed to correctly flag your model as being AI, in part or fully, your points will be removed.

But, only from a date they state as this new rule is applied. No retrospective stuff, despite many feeling justified, we should only judge after a rule is created and dated.

That should go for all rule changes.

Change logs are a necessary part of a professional system.
