Release UI Design Files Publicly for A1

Hi I’m new to 3d printing, also an app developer/designer. It wood be cool if we have an access to the design files of the A1’s UI (maybe figma or just raw svg files). I love the tiles base UI but as for me there are some design flaw to it.

Well I know the UI is limited because, I guess because it uses a microcontroller of some sort to build the UI and I myself built once with arduino stuff.

Things I would change:

  1. Tab design (e.g the the CONTROL and XYZ page.)
  2. The Extruder and z axis up and down buttons.
  3. Remove the labels of the tile buttons at home (filament, control, settings, assistant). Also make the icons filled to match with lie X1 ui.
  4. Removing the gradient bacground of the print files as the display doesnt handle gradients that well. (replace it with flat background).

My optional changes:

  1. extend the sound settings to allow loading custom start and end sound from sd card.
  2. If bambu actually wired the backlight to one of its GPIO then would be grate if the backlight can be adjusted

hope bambu send me the design files so I can start doing the concept

Sorry to tell you, but Bambu will not do this, they are currently doing the opposite in fact and just removed compatibility with third party integrations like the Panda Touch.

Yeah I’m familiar with the close source nature of bambulab but I just wanna make some concepts
