What is the reason for removing the X1 Carbon calibration feature from Bambu Lab Studio?
It feels completely wrong to have to switch to the H2D in the preparation tab just to access the saved K-values and related settings.

BTW, can you share how you copied the k-values from X1C to another printer?
I use OrcaSlicer for calibration and printing, but I do have the calibration tab for my X1C in Studio 2.1.1 and 2.2.0.
After I switch to that tab I do also have to re-select my printer or else I cannot select a filament, but that is probably just because Studio works so poorly in LAN-only mode.
There is no reason to copy the K-value from the X1 Carbon, which is a single-nozzle printer, to the H2D, which is a dual-nozzle printer, as they will differ. You might use it as an initial value to get closer to the correct setting, but this remains a manual task. Furthermore, the K-values for the left and right nozzles on the H2D are different, making it even less suitable to simply transfer the values.
If I have my X1 Carbon selected in the preparation tab, I only see the Orca Slice version of the calibration. There is no way to manage the K-values at all. To access the standard Bambu Lab calibration tab, I have to switch to the H2D in the preparation tab while still being connected to my X1 Carbon in the device tab.
This is a rather awkward workflow.
The situation is the same if I install Studio on a fresh system where I haven’t logged in yet.
It might be because I’m using developer mode to access some experimental settings, as you need developer mode enabled to see the Orca-style calibration.
Regardless, I should still be able to manage my K-values properly. It’s quite illogical to have to tinker with a different printer just to access the correct settings.
Short answer: no. My X1 Carbon has its original AMS along with a few AMS HT units. My H2D with the 40W laser has AMS 2 Pro units and a few AMS HT units.
So, there is no mix-up between them.
