Remove model before 90 days of exclusive

Hello , i didnt saw that hueforge couldnt be in exclusive program , but we cant go out of it before 90’days . I need to remove all of them but I cant .I made a ticket to ask remove them . Maybe we could have a remove button before 90’days that allow us to remove them and automatic put negative points if we made some .
Have a nice day

Something to ask to @MakerWorld and @Tanklet.
In the meantime I think you could only set them to private.

I did that yes. (25 caracters)

They say you can create a ticket and ask to be released.

However, those that have tried have been ignored.

I would recommend creating the ticket though. If they end up removing points you can cite the ticket saying I tried to leave and if they have any decency or self worth they would restore any points they removed.

Perhaps they are waiting for a software solution that has not yet been implemented to avoid the effort of manual processing. The first tickets for this were completed after 2 to 3 days, including mine. However, my newer tickets are also in the queue.

I think it would have been a good idea to limit the number of exclusive models per user to exactly 1 model in the initial phase. And later on to new model uploads. But if only new models had been approved anyway, the programme would have been ramped up more gently. We would have seen more and more exclusive models. Flooding the Exclusive programme with models overnight was not a good idea. Being kicked out is probably always worse than not being temporary allowed to take part in the programme to begin with.

For my part, I’m letting it go now. I have to take care of new models that would otherwise be left lying around. Let them deduct points. It doesn’t matter. They are the points of MW and the minus points are also the points of MW.

As we have stated in past threads, we are not on MW to make money or farm points as much as possible.

Decent summary.

Short version.

Zero thought by BL, all consequences at the foot of the users they made false promises to.

They did only take the extra points in the end. I still have all of mine in the program, the ones I wanted removed haven’t been. So they go private to avoid being confused as HueForge and penalized, earning no points. The Tattooine model was called HueForge and removed.

I think what really burned my buscuits was the threat of ban if continued to break the rules. They weren’t 2d, theyt weren’t HueForge, I didn’t know at the time, willingly wanted to remove, and put in tickets to have that done. While I’m sure eventually that threat would be enforced, using it in the wording now was kinda insulting.

At this point I’m still removing my models on Saturday. This has left me realizing that my place isn’t here.

I came here hoping to see something about this. I too was dumb and didn’t realize I could not put Hueforge prints into the exclusive program… turns out it was a bullet point on the wiki that you can’t. It seems so trivial to disallow a model in exclusive if it is tagged in the Hueforge category. I immediately went to remove them from the program but I cannot. Now I just watch as I keep getting alerts about prints being removed and warnings about being banned.

So far i’m down around 800 exclusive points and I was surprised to see they didn’t convert or move those over to regular points. Instead they just delete them and that hurt just a bit, thankfully i’m not banned yet because of this. I hope they come out with a solution… perhaps I should put a ticket in to cover my bases.

They took all of mine 125%.

Are you saying you were only stripped of the 25%?

That’s what they say. I lost the whole 18 for the one, the other two I don’t know. One didn’t have any points yet, the other didn’t have much if any. I don’t see any returned but they claimed they were only takng the 25%

I just took their word cause mad. Way mad.

I can kind of see how you missed the Hueforge part of the rules. They are poorly written and misleading. If you click the “Exclusive Model Program” banner on the homepage, it takes you to the Blog where is states the model must be exclusive to Makerworld and have a standard digital license, thats it.

To be fair though, there is a hyperlink in the text that leads you to the wiki for more “guidelines”. Once again through, it is misleading with the Eligibility section where it states: " To participate in MakerWorld’s Exclusive Model Program, creators simply need to fulfill one requirement: Accumulated Print exceed 100 on MakerWorld"

Read on down the page though and it seems there is another requirement for quality. So I guess there are two requirements to fulfill.

But wait there’s more! Models cant be remix…or hueforge…or 2D. What are we up to now 4 requirements?

In the end I am just riding it out until the fix it or kick my models off the program. Losing the points though will suck but what can we do? Its their game.

They took all of mine too, about 700 points.
Punishing us for their mistakes.

Why would I care about HueForge?

Not only hueforge.

We need to’remove wall decoration too . And they delete my mask , i dont know why, they are not hueforge . I have draw them and make multilayer print .

I think that the rule is rather clear, “Models should demonstrate a high level of detail and precision in design . AI generated content, Hueforges and 2D models such as coasters and keychains designed with existing images will be removed from the program.”

The purpose of the exclusive program is to promote high quality design. They are looking for advanced and innovative designs. It can’t be exclusive if everything is allowed. The concept of exclusive implies the exclusion of others. Look at the models they used to promote the program. That is the level of quality, complexity and functionality that they are looking for.
