Replace Motor Drive Pulley

Hello,
Unfortunately the Y axis Pulley on top of the stepped motor broke so I have to replace them.
The old one had some glue sticks with hot pistol on top to stick to the shaft.
Is it the same with the one I order as spare part from Bambulab webstore?
Are there any advice in this matter, I will also replace the belt form both of the axis so at list will do maintenance.
Thank’s for any advice

Hey, welcome to the forum.

If you are asking about the drive shaft on top of the motor (black part that drives the belt) it will be installed and it should be just a drop in. Here’s the guide if you haven’t found it.

Yes but no more glue? the wiki dosen’t metion any detail, just push the drive in shaft?

The drive is already on the shaft. No glue is needed.

the shaft is part of the step motor so I doupt that the plastic drive I order is already in the shaft no sense, did you have ever change it?.

My question do I need to glue it or not?

You didn’t need the extra drive. There will be no need for it and no need for glue.

Take a look at the motor from the store. You can see the drive on it.

In the description it states the drive is included and on it/

As I metion I did buy only the Motor Drive Pulley on the link above not the step XY Motor.

Ok, I apologize, I thought your motor itself had gone bad, not the drive.

If it needs any glue it will be supplied with the pully. Bambu would list that it’s needed if it were and not included.

Got it today, it seams very stiff to push the new drive pulley along the shaft, so maybe no need to glue with hot pistol, no mention on how to replace or indication!
The good thing is the have much more lenght from the old one!
