Replaced everything, still have errors, Bambu refuses to RMA my unit

My P1P worked fine for a couple of weeks, then started developing problems. I’ve already recounted the entire disaster that is Bambu support and the insane hoops they make you jump through, so I honestly do not expect anything from them (other than a full refund at this point).

I’ve replaced the thermistor, the extruder, the fans, and yet it still fails to work. The current error I get is the HMS 0300 0200 0001 0002. The wiki is useless on the topic.

I requested a refund for the P1P almost immediately and they’ve flat out refused. Now I’m basically 3-4 months in to owning what amounts to a plastic and metal box that does nothing. I have no way to get it repaired.

I wish I could say my experience is hyperbole, but Bambu is possibly the worst company I’ve ever dealt with in my 50+ years of living. Not just tech companies, but of all the companies I’ve dealt with. They may have great management, but I can’t imagine anyone successful would approve of the way their support people treat their customers. I was told, “most of our customers try to rip us off, that’s why we have to be so cautious”. Seriously?!

In any event, if by some miracle anyone knows what I can do - other than to just kiss my money goodbye and warn everyone who will listen to never do business with Bambu Lab - please let me know.

Replace the heater element.

I suggest just replacing the hotend assembly complete

The guy just said he replaced everything… did you read that right?

Don’t you think that he has fixed it since October last year…

Considering that apart from the headline grabbing title, the word “everything” doesn’t appear anywhere in his text, I think my comment was helpful.

I guess this is what we can expect now with the influx of new Bambu Lab owners who bought their printers with makerworld points?

Oh, and welcome to the community!

Unfortunately, I know what this guy is going through. You buy a printer, as I already have some from different brands, and you encounter the same rare problem. The support does nothing about it. But when it comes to selling an expensive printer, they’re very good. With the cheaper printer, I never had to beg to get service. I don’t think it could get any worse. Thanks, Bambu, for ignoring your tickets.
