Hi, I’ve been having a lot of problems with my P1S extruder unit. Tried replacing various parts without success, and then I lost a sprocket bearing when disassembling it, so now I’m in a real pickle.
No sign of that in the Bambu parts catalogue. As a result, I need to replace the entire Hardened Steel Extruder Unit. Alas, there’s no sign of that in Bambu’s parts catalogue either. There’s one for the X1C which looks identical, but I presume it isn’t compatible. Can anybody tell me where I can get my hands on one?
The hardened steel extruder unit can be found in the Bambu Shop under Replacement parts → P1 series → Extruder parts in the EU shop.
So you may want to contact Bambu directly through a ticket. It certainly exists as a buyable replacement part. You should be able to get it, even if they need to ship it from China. But that is usually reasonably fast, even to Europe.
I recently replaced my extruder gears for the hardened steel version and due to my hand tremors was very conceited might lose one or more parts, the wiki article about the process actually indicates it is a common occurrence.
If your lost part is like the one ringed in the photo, there are spares in the hardened steel gears assembly which is identical for the P & X series.

I did successfully replace the extruder without losing any parts (a miracle to be sure).
The replacement hardened steel gears come with spares bearings.
