Request: Makerworld Consolidate Rating/Comment/"Like"

Minor frustration with the Makerworld commenting/rating system.

Just printed a model straight from Makerworld to Bambu Studio. Now I want to thank the model creator. I’ve “liked” the model. I’ve added a comment and photo. I can see other users’ ratings in the Print Profile. I know I’ve rated other models before but for the life of me I can’t find the option here. I’ve added a comment with photos; why can’t I add a rating there? Or am I missing something?

My request is to simplify the entire comment/like/rating system. Put all of these upvote-type options in one obvious place.

I might add that, if you have a Project tab in Bambu Studio then let me comment and rate from there, too.

What is your “level” in Makerworld? The model creator may have ratings blocked for people with a level under 7.

I’m level 10; not sure how granular that “block/no block” setting can be. Having said that, I see that @Madmax has pointed me to the right place below.

Thanks, @Madmax – this is what I was looking for. I guess I’ll have to remember this but really, this is like asking me to go to “Downloads” to download something. I would have expected “Ratings” to include ratings that I’ve already issued.

The blocking by level is fixed at level 7, so you’re good.

My ‘ratings’ under my profile shows my rating history as well as models I I have not yet rated if that is what you are referring to.

Yes, mine too now that I look at it – just not intuitive. I left a comment and photos for my most recent download/make but if I will end up creating a redundant comment if I now add a rating.

I don’t actually have a problem with the Ratings page in my profile so much as I should be able to add a rating to the comment I left in the first place.
