I noticed that there was a defect in one of the spools (the material colour faded a bit for about 600mm) so I paused the print, pulled out the filament, trimmed away the faded section and shoved it back the feeder. Continued the print. This colour hadn’t been used yet btw. So far the print has several layers to go before I get to the spool I just trimmed but I see that AMS isn’t reading rfid tag, meaning on the AMS screen on the printer the spool has a question mark above it. I can’t edit the AMS spool value while print is running or paused. Have I screwed this print or is it safe to keep it running.
UPDATE:
Nevermind. When it got to the colour it printed it just fine. Still hasn’t read the spool but it worked.
