I keep getting this problem, and i think it may have to do with retraction issues. The printer i use is a P1S, and i’m printing with Aero ASA, which i have had success with in the past, but am now getting thease weard issues with. Here is an image of the issue:
I haven’t used that specific filament, I know it’s success relies on matching input choices (temp and speed) to your anticipated output.
I can’t see how the issue is retraction though as your model doesn’t have any in the print you showed, except at the seam, while not knowing those settings I would not imagine the amount of failures could relate to the seam position.
Moisture content, speed of print, bed adhesion (cleaning required), temperature, or even the material getting stuck are far more likely.
I have printed similar models, though of smaller diameter before with no issues, this is a new problem that started occoring. Here are more pictures of similar failure with the other model in the file:
I think i have experienced a similar issue when i attempted to print a Bambu Lab filament drying box out of PC-FR, but this could be another issue.
I don’t think its moisture, because i tried it with another spool that had laid in a plastic container with lots of silica for like a month, and the same issue occored.
No issues occor when printing spiral vase or anything that could be printed with spiral vase for that matter, and theese temperature settings are the only ones that give satisfactory results. I also think that i have tried a slower speed once, however et never hurts to try again.
Could it also be a hardware issue?
Silica gel does not directly dry filament; instead, it absorbs moisture from the surrounding air, helping to keep the filament dry when stored. For effective drying, the filament itself typically needs to be heated in a dryer or oven.

Keep in mind, I am not saying it is the cause, I am saying it could be and should not be ruled out.
I found the solution myself. After observing the printer for some time, i saw, that small already extruded bits would stick to the nozzle, building a ring around it and tearing the print.
The solution is to basically while the machine is working on the first and second layers, remove any bits that don’t stick completely to the build plate (like the places near seams), to prevent the nozzle from tearing it away and making the problem worse. Then, in the 2nd layer and up, the filament fuses with the lower layers so the problem stops. Also, i disabled ‘wipe while retracting’, because i realized that it basically was a recipie for disaster.
