We would like to introduce a reward system for Community Contributions shared on our Forum.
Our focus is to continue working on further improving the experience of users when using Bambu Lab products, and we believe contributions from users are valuable in making that happen.
The Community Contributions Wiki section is introduced to serve as a place where everyone can contribute with useful information related to our products.
In this section, you can share useful tips, guides and recommendations related to Bambu Lab products and services. From simple guides like how to use certain features of Bambu Studio to slicing files for specific project, or troubleshooting guides to solve particular issues that might occur during the printing phase, we welcome all contributions.
If you have a good idea on how to help others be successful in their 3D printing journey, we would love to see it published as a Community Contribution.
Reward System
The most useful Community Contributions will be rewarded with two spools of PLA Filament (Basic PLA or Matte PLA of random color) and a Gold Community Contributor badge issued on the Forum.
Owners of eligible posts will be contacted by the Bambu Lab Wiki Team user to ask for approval in linking the content and getting the required information to ship the rewards.
This reward will be granted to the contributions that get featured and linked in the Community Contribution section of the Bambu Lab Wiki.
Eligible Contributions
To be eligible for the rewards, the content needs to follow the following rules:
The Article or Video needs to be published on the Bambu Lab Forum in the Community Contributions section.
The information included in the Forum post should not be already covered in our Official Wiki, but it can include useful new information that enriches the current published content.
All the content published in the Community Contributions section (pictures, text, video) should be original and created by the user sharing the forum post. Avoid using content made by others as this will not be eligible for rewards.
We look forward to everyone’s contributions in making 3D printing accessible to everyone!
There are things that come naturally, as soon as you have completed a task well. And when you do ask for something, it normaly become a hassle because it will be done cheaply. The most valuable things in a shop window do not have a price tag…
I’ll just assume you haven’t seen this as it’s been over a week. Not trying to be a bother, but I would like the rewards since they’re offered. @BambuLab / @MakerWorld / @SupportAssistant / @BrotherC
Unfortunately, it seems like your submission is not following the rules.
The post was not submitted in the corect section, so it was not identified by our team until now. Please note that not all the submissions might be selected.
With that said, we appreciate your submission, and we are happy to hear it is popular and useful for the forum members.
Okay, I have moved it to the Community Contributions category as you require.
You knew about it, though. As shown in the screenshot, you reacted with
It is the most replied to, sixth most viewed (in much less time than the others), and third most reacted to compared to all the other posts in this section.
If it doesn’t qualify after all that, let me know and I can move it back to MakerWorld where more people will be able to see it.
Unfortunately, the post is still not following the rules, as it uses content made by others (ex: using pictures from other users). But we will discuss this topic within the team and follow up when possible.
I think the fairest solution, and one that would really start this program off with a bang… is to make his thread the official first community contribution thread, give him the two rolls of filament, and give him and everyone he credited at the bottom of that thread the gold badge.
It uses pictures from other users with complete and total credit. Do you expect me to recreate the best photos from MakerWorld and link everything to me? That would be very self-absorbed of me. Instead, I found some cool photos from contributors to the thread and from MakerWorld in general and put those in instead. Some of them probably got a few extra downloads off of it, those reading the thread got insights on good photos and why they’re good, and I didn’t have to manually make all the photos.
As for other users’ text that I used, it is all just quotes to the original thread, like so:
The majority of the article is my photos/text. In fact, only counting my original content, my article is still longer than some of the other articles in this section.
