Right nozzle is special CF

i saw on place of wiki bambulab that H2D right Nozzle is special for CF, TPU or charged filament. and i saw all time when i slice project if i put filament on right nozzle, be more quick. like 7h in left and 6h in right!

so i am asked if it’s possible, bambu studio tell us this !!

Do you have the same nozzles on the left and right?

As far as I am aware it’s nothing to do with the nozzle itself, but the filament feed path to the nozzle.

For example there is tight bend in the PTFE for the right hotend, which can cause rigid fibre-reinforced filaments to break

I don’t know the reason for TPU but I think it’s in the geometry of the extruder?

edit To answer your question, I believe Gerrit is correct. check the nozzle type in the printer, and nozzle and filament settings in the slicer.

Can you post an example project which shows what you’re seeing?

With simple tests on a large cube switching which extruder to use (using the “custom mode” for mapping before a slice) makes absolutely no difference in the print time estimate, for me (12h 9m, so I’d expect even minor differences to accumulate and be obvious). Same nozzle size and flow type.

In general, Studio can only estimate overall time of a print based on current settings in Studio. If it shows an overall time difference, that means there’s some setting observably different between the nozzles (left/right extruders) being used.

As a practical matter, everything else being equal, it does take a bit longer to start a print on the left nozzle (mostly) due to bed leveling usually taking longer (there’s a thread on that somewhere). But Studio doesn’t know about that anyway.

Also, the HF induction nozzles are more HF than the older left sides ones, according to specs. This may be reflected in a few of the default filament profiles.

The reason I asked is because a high flow vs standard nozzle might explain the difference.

It might have to do with how much time studio thinks a material switch is costing.

It’s definitely advisable to split the 2 materials over the 2 nozzles. Saves you a lot of material.

Have you been changing purge volumes?

Try to show the details (Line type) view. You should be able to see more than the overall times.

Separate the 2 filaments over the 2 nozzles. You will see that the amount of filament will be reduced drastically.

that logic but not a question, when you disassemble right nozzle , he different at left as not move!! so, as it better for tpu; maybe is for cf too
