Ringing /ghosting or other defect?

I’m getting some wavy lines! It’s always printing on tall vertical prints and it’s multiple wavy lines that go from top to bottom. I’ve slowed prints down to 40mms and it’s the same as 300mms. It’s a gentle ridge that you can feel with your nail if you scrape along it.

I’ve contacted support and they’ve said take apart extruder and deep clean that to start. So I’ll try that. But I’m assuming there is something with the Z axis? Wondered if anyone had ideas of things to try while I’m stripping down to clean!

Thanks

Please, provide some photos of the problems and associated screenshots showing the previews and any settings you have changed,

Thanks for the reply. I added pics now!

Can you provided photos of the model itself (not so zoomed in) and the way it printed.

These will complement the ones you just provided.

The idea is to see the problem (provided) and the context (awaiting).

The screenshots are also required to see what the slicer planned and any settings that may relate to the issue.

Right now I see the possibility of a lamp will tall legs, that could cause vibration, just a guess and no idea what the white part relates to yet.

As you are using an A series, could you include some indication of which side of the model was facing forwards (towards you) when printing?

OK so this a model I just printed. It’s a toy slide printed on its side. The wiggly lines appear on both sides the larger flat surfaces.

This was printed with tree support and the infill changed to gyroid, apart from that was the standard bambu 0.20mm profile used.

It happens on nearly everything, I have reduced speed to 50mms on a print and it still happened.

As an update if anyone sees this or is interested, bambu support sent me 3 test models to print and send them pics and videos of certain things.

Each test model had the wavy lines down the left and right sides while the front remained clean indicating the Z axis being the cause. They haven’t really said what the issue is exactly but suspect damage to the frame of some sort and are sending a replacement frame for me to try it.

Will update again if it’s the fix!
