Q2 2026 at the earliest is my guess.
Actually might be a fun little project to make something like that. Getting it to cooperate with the machine will be very difficult

I still have the one made for the Xtool D1/D1 Pro unopened lol… but I figure it’s the same with that one, the communication part.

It would be relatively easy. All you really have to do is take the y axis commands and translate them into a rotational movement.
My guess on the delays is part availability and cost. Plus I dont really see a huge market for it outside of a select few.

It’s more than a few. Engraving mugs, tumblers and glasses is big business. I would love to switch from Lightburn and my gantry/diode laser to this machine.

Its all comparitive. I dont think a lot of people are getting laser attachments to begin with. Along with the amount of people that are buying the H series.
It is a subset of a subset of a subset.
And now with the 3d meshing of curved surfaces support, it becomes even less important, unless you really need access to more of the circumference.

Multi colour printing on a rotary attachment would be nice too.
You print the model all in one colour, and then attached it to a rotary device, and spin it around filling in each colour one at a time on the outer surface - if necessary building up the height a bit.
Wouldn’t work for complex shaped objects - but for relatively simple shapes it could work quite well.

It would be really nice if Bambu would release this. They touted it in the H2D marketing material but have not done anything with it since. I am guessing the roadmap was (or is) H2D > H2S > H2C > Vortek upgrades > Rotary but that’s purely speculation on my end.

Won’t be difficult at all i reckon, being Bambu Labs, there quick to jump on all issues. Can’t wait for it to come out, im needing it now…lol
would the xtool rotary work. curious. I just go one for vday. don’t want to open
