Is it possible to create a G-code routine for the H2C to safely purge old filament residue when switching between ABS and PLA to prevent nozzle clogs? I believe performing this type of purge is much more logical and practical than the tedious ‘cold pull’ process before every print.
I just go through the load filament function on my H2S. I haven’t run into any clogging issues going from pla to abs. I would like a way to bring the toolhead to center when changing nozzles, that would be nice not having to turn off the printer to change it.
On H2C just click on read left nozzle info, it will just make a quick travel back to front to back and disengage the motors. You can then just pull the toolhead by hand wherever you want it to be.
I believe the next firmware will have an option to disengage motors in the menu.
