I am having trouble understanding how filament profiles work on the H2C. What I have physically installed in the AMS is the same type of filament from the same manufacturer but with different colors.
However, the printer, itself does not list that manufacturer in its list when setting up the AMS (on the printer). Therefor, I need to select “Generic”.
When I sync the filaments to Bambu Studio, it displays “Generic ABS” with the colors matching the ones that I’ve set on the printer.
However, when I change the filament in Bambu to use the user profile for the actual filament type, it changes all colors in the “Project Filament” section to the profile’s Default color.
The AMS is connected to the right nozzle. What I want is for the printer to use different induction toolheads for different colors. How would I set that up? It doesn’t seem right that I would have to setup multiple copies of my user profile to match the colors.
