Scaling issue with P1S/AMS

Hello everyone, I have a technical question. I have a P1S/AMS and have been printing since I got it over 2 weeks ago. I started learning FreeCAD and created a sewing needle board/holder. The size of my model is exactly 130mm X 170mm X 90mm. I export the body in a 3mf file to Bambu Studio. I import it in the “prepare” tab, read the dimensions and they are exactly the same. I then launch the print and at the conclusion of the print, the dimensions are different: 133.7mm X 178mm X 94.3mm, the thickness of the board which is 10mm, prints out at 14.2mm. Both FreeCAD and Bambu Studio are in decimals. I checked google, ChatGPT and other than making sure both softwares are in decimals, they don’t really help me. I did add some chamfers to the model. Any ideas on what is causing this? Bambu Studio imports at the correct sizes… am at a loss. Thank you

Welcome to the forum

What are you using for measuring the print?

Are you able to upload the Bambu Studio .3mf file?

Good day! Thank you for your quick reply. I am using a FineSource digital caliper. I will upload the file.

I just realized that my caliper was not zeroed! All is fine… geez, I am such a newbie!! My apologies!

That’s what I had thought might be the issue. It happens to the best of us. Glad you got it sorted out.
