Is there a method or technique to scale only a portion of a model part in Bambu Studio?
Often enough, I would like to scale a part, often only along a single axis. But, I end up also scaling some significant connecting element which throws off its size. I would like to be able to scale only part of a part, if possible, I’m spitballing, using modifiers or something else.

If the creator intended it that way and the parts are listed as individual objects, then yes: Right-click on your assembly group and select “split to objects”.
If that isn’t an option, you’ll have to manually cut the object into different parts. There are various options; the simplest one is:
It would also be a good idea to check whether the designer has provided the CAD files. If you’re lucky, there are more possibilities.
