Just wanted to know what types of scrapers people are using, I’m looking at the panda edge but it’s a bit pricey,good alternatives?

Any scraper design would work on the PEI plate using the BL blade . I have been scraping on my PEI plate for half a year without it effecting the plate texture. I will print Xsynatic’s sugestion and give it a try.

Search for “plastic razor blade scraper”. They are cheap, don’t scratch the plate, have durable sharp edges. They are packaged in many different combinations of blades, handles, and prices, so shop around. I’d suggest at least 3 or 4 handles, you will find lots of other uses around the house and shop.
It’s just too easy to scratch a plate with metal blades.

I mainly print PLA but I use a non-bladed (no metal blade) scrapper. I think it’s the STL that came with my P1S. I print it out of PLA Wood which seems to be a little tougher and more wear resistant than regular PLA. And if the edge starts to feather back I can just scrape that off with a knife or sand it and it’s back to the original bevel.
This is more expensive but you’ll end up with 20 of them.
