Searching for BL Matte PLA Nardo alternatives

I’m having difficult time to get a consistent result from Nardo Gray, it’s simply too temperamental as a PLA. Its printed color varies greatly depending on factors such as print speed, dryness and layer time. It also laser etched differently too (the two rolls that I’ve printed.)

You guys know a good alternative for it? Thanks

That’s surprising, I really like the Nardo and have used about 6 spools over the last few weeks. A few of the spools were ordered several months apart and I haven’t noticed any color issues. You could try the Ash Grey; it’s just a little bit lighter in color.

I haven’t tried this one yet but it’s an option: Amazon.com: INGEO PLA+ Matte Filament 1.75mm, US-Sourced PLA, Navy Blue, 1KG (2.2lbs) | NatureWorks Pure Material for Reliable Printing, Soft Matte Finish, Reduced Layer Lines, Dimensional Accuracy ±0.02 mm : Industrial & Scientific

I think Anycubic has a matte in Nardo Grey too.

What’s a nardo, anyway?

WAIT - that’s the official name for that putty-azz looking grey that blighted cars for a few years?

It might be okay for organic form, but flat walls show everything. Nardo is the most inconsistent PLA I’ve used. Others have experienced similar issues
